USES AND APPLICATIONS
KLEINOX 4598 (4404+S+Cu) (AISI 316L S + Cu) is a stainless steel Cr-Ni-Mo, adapted to machinability on automatic lathes, where highest corrosion resistance is demanded. In particular, with S and Cu addition, it may obtain high machinability features. This steel is well indicated for the production of watch parts, vehicles, pumps, engines, medical instruments, micromechanics parts and textile industry.
EXECUTIONS
Diameters: 1.00 – 15.00 mm
Tolerances: ISO h8 (up to h5)
Delivery conditions: in cold drawn or ground bars 3m and Coils
MECHANICAL PROPERTIES
Tensile Strength: ca. 740-960 N/mm2, depends on diameter
Heat treatment: anneal: 1050°C, water cooling
Cutting speed: 45-60 m/min
Lubrificant-cooling fluid i.e.: Motorex Frisco 782 CF or 9800 CF
