KLEINOX 2516 – DIN 120WV4
USES AND APPLICATIONS
KLEINOX 2516 an alloy tool steel with chromium, vanadium and tungsten, being the most non-distorting of the waterhardened steels and characterized by high level hard- ness and cutting capacity, good toughness and wear resistance. This steel is well indicated for the production of screw cutting tools, spiral drills, piercing and drawing mandrels, milling cutters, ejectors, punchers, tapes, counter-sinks, spade and reamers.

Diameters: 1.00 – 25.00 mm
Tolerances: ISO h9 up to ISO h7
Delivery conditions: in cold drawn or ground bars 3m and Coils
MECHANICAL PROPERTIES
Tensile Strength 750 N/mm2 , depends on diameter
Heat treatment oil hardening: 810 – 830°C water hardening: 790 – 810°C
Hardness max 64/66 HRc
Cutting speed 20 – 30 m/min
Lubrificant-cooling fluid i.e.: INOX or ORTHO di Motorex
