USES AND APPLICATIONS

KLEINOX 4125 (AISI 440C) hardenable martensitic stainless steel with high Cr content, projected to obtain stainless with highest hardness (ca 60 HRc). It is well adapted for production of bearings, cutlery, spherical valves, needle valves, food and aerospace sector.

EXECUTIONS

Diameters: 1.00 – 15.00 mm
Tolerances: ISO h8 (up to h5)
Delivery conditions: in cold drawn or ground bars 3m and Coils

MECHANICAL PROPERTIES
Before hardening

Strenght Uts: ca. 700 – 950 N/mm2 , depends on diameter
Heat treatment: hardening: 1030 – 1070°C anneal: 100 – 200, oil or water cooling
Hardness Max: 60 HRc
Cutting speed: 20 – 30 m/min
Lubrificant-cooling fluid i.e.: INOX or ORTHO Motorex
